Medical Care

Our medical director oversees all aspects of care, providing guidance to the team. Our registered nurses are responsible for managing patient care, offering expert pain and symptom management to ensure comfort. Additionally, our certified nursing assistants assist with personal care needs, including bathing, feeding, and more.

To meet your needs, we provide specialized medications for pain or symptoms related to the hospice diagnosis, along with high-quality medical supplies, delivered directly to your door. Our equipment specialists also deliver durable medical equipment (DME), such as hospital beds and oxygen, and will set everything up while explaining how to use it. Understanding that care needs can arise at any time, our staff is available and on-call 24/7. We are here to support you in every way possible.

Ongoing Family Support

At Gemini, we recognize that the hospice journey can be difficult for both patients and their families. That’s why our team works closely with loved ones every step of the way. Our caring nurses offer education and support on caregiving, disease progression, and the transition process. Our social workers connect families with community services, assist with end-of-life arrangements, and provide emotional support. Additionally, we offer respite care to give family caregivers a break while the patient stays at a partner care facility for a short time.

Bereavement Services

Following the patient’s passing, our bereavement team offers 12 months of emotional support, companionship, and assistance to grieving families, loved ones, and caregivers. We provide support groups and memorial services to help guide families through this challenging period. At Gemini, we are dedicated to offering comprehensive care throughout every step of the journey.
